This map shows all of it — every new filing, across all 67 counties and every ZIP code, drawn straight from official state records and refreshed continuously. Instead of a spreadsheet of raw registrations, you get a living picture of business formation across Florida.

Public data rarely arrives ready to use. State filings come as fixed-width text with no delimiters and no industry labels. County profiles arrive as dense PDFs. Business details are scattered across the web.

About this data. Filings are sourced from State of Florida public business registration records and updated regularly. Counts reflect new registrations only and exclude filings tied to a registered-agent or mailbox address used many times in a single day, which are treated as service hubs rather than local businesses — this keeps the map focused on where businesses actually locate. County totals are rolled up from ZIP-level filings; a small number of filings with unmatched ZIPs are not counted toward a county. Population, income, and industry figures shown in county profiles are published by Florida’s Office of Economic and Demographic Research (EDR). Business contact details link to third-party sources and are provided for convenience. Figures are estimates and may be revised as records update.
